Building the right skills and capabilities is a necessary component of success for everyone. If we don’t have the right skills we cannot perform our job well, and we won’t be successful long-term. Therefore, it is essential each of us take the time to identify the skills required for our job, and to spend the time strengthening existing skills and developing new ones. Individuals who are consistently focused on developing themselves have an advantage in the workplace and will have greater success long-term. For this course you will identify the skill you’d like to strengthen or develop. This skill may be a fairly simple and straightforward capability or it may be a more complex skill that will take time to create proficiency. Then you will select from a list of selected development actions you will implement to build your skills. By completing this course, you will know how to build the skills required to increase personal performance. This course has been approved for 1 hour of PDU credit from PMI (Project Management Institute).
